La Academia Imortal's Tage Tidéksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Almeida in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Alexsandro Simão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tage Tidéksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the game, Juventudes Libertárias's Gilson Meirelles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tage Tidéksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 24 played minutes La Academia Imortal got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Dias. Agostinho Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in La Academia Imortal's zone, Ritvaldis Rau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tage Tidéksson came out of the goal and Ritvaldis Rau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rubens Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, La Academia Imortal's goal looked a bit too open when Gilson Meirelles came free, but Tage Tidéksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tage Tidéksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ritvaldis Rau's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Agostinho Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Tidéksson having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Gilson Meirelles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tage Tidéksson. La Academia Imortal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilson Meirelles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Renato Baiano to make the kick off. Tage Tidéksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ritvaldis Rau in the 54th minute of play. Alexsandro Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Tidéksson having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Ismael Pernambucano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Academia Imortal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventudes Libertárias the free kick. When Alexsandro Couto fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Academia Imortal's protests and gave Alexsandro Couto a yellow card for diving instead. Alexsandro Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, La Academia Imortal's goalkeeper Tage Tidéksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rubinho Loureiro. If Gilson Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Márcio Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tage Tidéksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Márcio Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. The La Academia Imortal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Juventudes Libertárias were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
