Tato Vega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute, Lando Norin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guilherme Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lando Norin in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Lando Norin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guilherme Hermes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lando Norin scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guilherme Hermes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albertinho Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tato Vega scored 0-3 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guilherme Hermes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tato Vega took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guilherme Hermes. Guilherme Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Albertinho Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guilherme Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Andrade in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Albertinho Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Tato Vega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Que se abra o mar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tato Vega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Tato Vega made a precise shot to the right of Guilherme Hermes. Desportivo Coala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 40 minutes into the match, Albertinho Andrade notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Desportivo Coala's Guilherme Hermes. Guilherme Hermes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guilherme Hermes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tato Vega went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. After the first half Que se abra o mar were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tato Vega to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Desportivo Coala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Urbano to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Inácio Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coala's goal looked a bit too open when Lando Norin came free, but Guilherme Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes of play, Que se abra o mar's Albertinho Andrade made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guilherme Hermes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the game, Albertinho Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Guilherme Hermes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guilherme Hermes was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Albertinho Andrade capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albertinho Andrade really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. 73 minutes into the game, Que se abra o mar's Albertinho Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guilherme Hermes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Guilherme Hermes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tommy Van Elsen in the 78th minute. A collision led to Desportivo Coala getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo hit a great ball. Que se abra o mar's Tomas Lewandowski was substituted for Tato Vega. Tommy Van Elsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Lando Norin took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Guilherme Hermes to make any attempt to save it. Desportivo Coala's Guilherme Hermes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Desportivo Coala from getting a goal against them. Tomas Lewandowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Guilherme Hermes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded Que se abra o mar left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Desportivo Coala.
