Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dito Ramos started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Cipriano Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durval Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lando Norin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albertinho Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Durval Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Que se abra o mar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lando Norin in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Icoara Football Club's Romário Bertassi got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 24 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Iuri Ortiz. Durval Guerra made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Tato Vega sent off a good shot on target. Lando Norin kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Que se abra o mar's Sandro Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dito Ramos in the 35th minute of play. Tato Vega received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Durval Guerra came out and tried to block the shot, but Tato Vega slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tato Vega made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertinho Andrade in the 54th minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Durval Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th match minute, Que se abra o mar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tato Vega to maneuver through the defense. When Iuri Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Icoara Football Club's protests and gave Iuri Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Iuri Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Durval Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lando Norin in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Tato Vega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Icoara Football Club defense, Tato Vega kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Durval Guerra. The Icoara Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Durval Guerra should have stopped the shot. Durval Guerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tato Vega's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Albertinho Andrade put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Durval Guerra. After having played for 76 minutes, Tato Vega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Que se abra o mar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tato Vega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Pimenta came free, but Durval Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tato Vega took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Durval Guerra. Durval Guerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Que se abra o mar's Tomas Lewandowski was substituted for Tato Vega. In the 85th minute, Tomas Lewandowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Durval Guerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Durval Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lando Norin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Adriano Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Lewandowski in the 94th minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Durval Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
