Gurdurão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albertinho Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 13th minute Tato Vega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Tato Vega cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Natã Massa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 16 played minutes Gurdurão got a freekick which was hit by Elton Titos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tato Vega in the 19th minute of play forced Gurdurão's goalkeeper Natã Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Que se abra o mar's Albertinho Andrade made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natã Massa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Natã Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tato Vega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustão Proença in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandro Tepedino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albertinho Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Natã Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natã Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lando Norin in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Noel Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dagoberto Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustão Proença to make the kick off. After 73 played minutes Gurdurão got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Nunes. Gurdurão made a substitution. Dalmo Santos replaced Evaristo Hurtado. Dagoberto Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Que se abra o mar were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Gurdurão's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lando Norin took the corner.
