Tato Vega's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Guilherme Hermes firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 6th minute, Lando Norin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guilherme Hermes. The goal made the score 1-0. Guilherme Hermes made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Albertinho Andrade sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Guilherme Hermes managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Que se abra o mar's Tato Vega fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 16 minutes into the game, Que se abra o mar's Lando Norin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guilherme Hermes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 21st minute of the match, Lando Norin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guilherme Hermes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tato Vegas short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Guilherme Hermes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 26th minute, Albertinho Andrade reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guilherme Hermes. The goal made the score 4-0. Guilherme Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lando Norin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guilherme Hermes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tato Vega in the 31st minute. Que se abra o mar's Tato Vega was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Guilherme Hermes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lando Norin went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 40th match minute, Desportivo Coala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Urbano to maneuver through the defense. Tato Vega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Lando Norin came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Que se abra o mar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lando Norin couldn't finish the play. Desportivo Coala's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Lando Norin scored to the left of an out of position Guilherme Hermes, making the score, 7-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marinho Maringá stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tato Vega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Guilherme Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Desportivo Coala defense, Ivar Eriksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guilherme Hermes. The Desportivo Coala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guilherme Hermes should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tato Vega in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guilherme Hermes saved Desportivo Coala from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Tato Vega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Desportivo Coala defense, Lando Norin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guilherme Hermes. The Desportivo Coala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guilherme Hermes should have stopped the shot. Desportivo Coala's Guilherme Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tato Vega in the 64th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Desportivo Coala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Albertinho Andrade made a precise shot to the right of Guilherme Hermes. Desportivo Coala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Desportivo Coala's Guilherme Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tato Vega in the 71st minute of play. Guilherme Hermes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tato Vega went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Guilherme Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Van Elsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Hayrullah Atikoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Que se abra o mar's Tomas Lewandowski was substituted for Tato Vega. After 85 minutes of play, Que se abra o mar's Tommy Van Elsen made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guilherme Hermes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Lewandowski in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guilherme Hermes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 90 minutes into the match, Ivar Eriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guilherme Hermes. Desportivo Coala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivar Eriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. Guilherme Hermes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lando Norin went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Que se abra o mar fully deserved thier win.
