The audience was convinced that Luca Postelnicescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernd Goldsche was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Bernd Goldsche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mete Nared, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Bernd Goldsche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Nared in the 14th minute of the match. After 15 minutes Academia Militar MZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luca Postelnicescu who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Vila Nova FC's Luca Postelnicescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernd Goldsche despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Mete Nared came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Vila Nova FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mete Nared couldn't finish the play. After 22 played minutes Academia Militar MZ got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Valle. Luca Postelnicescu scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernd Goldsche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Luca Postelnicescu sped through Academia Militar MZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernd Goldsche. When Vila Nova FC's Luca Postelnicescu in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academia Militar MZ's goalie prevented a goal. After 41 minutes of play, Vila Nova FC's Mete Nared made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Luca Postelnicescu sped through Academia Militar MZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernd Goldsche.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luca Postelnicescu was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Mete Nared took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Bernd Goldsche to make any attempt to save it. In the 55th minute, Vila Nova FC's Luca Postelnicescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernd Goldsche. Bernd Goldsche yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Bernd Goldsche made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Mete Nared sent off a good shot on target. In the 61stth minute of the game Luca Postelnicescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Militar MZ's Bernd Goldsche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luca Postelnicescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mete Nared's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernd Goldsche firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vila Nova FC were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Academia Militar MZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luca Postelnicescu took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Academia Militar MZ's goalie and right to Jiang Nan Han. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Academia Militar MZ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Bernd Goldsche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mete Nared went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. 80 minutes into the game, Vila Nova FC's Leonardo Giroud nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernd Goldsche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Vila Nova FC's Luca Postelnicescu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 83rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Academia Militar MZ's Bernd Goldsche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Postelnicescu in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Militar MZ's zone, Mete Nared stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernd Goldsche came out of the goal and Mete Nared tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Silvério Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Academia Militar MZ's Bernd Goldsche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Academia Militar MZ from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the game, Vila Nova FC's Luca Postelnicescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernd Goldsche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Vila Nova FC played a much better game than Academia Militar MZ and deserved their victory. The Academia Militar MZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
