With an all-out effort, ARS FUTEBOL's Jânio Furlan threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luisito Pistol, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Guará FC's Jânio Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mátyás Borbás in the 42nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mátyás Borbás in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jânio Furlan saved Guará FC from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mátyás Borbás to make the kick off. A collision led to Guará FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tiago Gabriel Vieira hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Samuca de Medeiros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jânio Furlan skillfully saved the ball. After taking down the ball on ARS FUTEBOL's corner Alex Pogba fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jânio Furlan quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mátyás Borbás in the 81st minute of play forced Guará FC's goalkeeper Jânio Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
