The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Charles Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. TRAKINAS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hudson Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Santo Amaro AC's Hudson Arósio got control of the ball when Oswaldo Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Oswaldo Matos took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hudson Arósio to make any attempt to save it. TRAKINAS FC's Charles Oliveira was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 9th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 12 minutes into the match, TRAKINAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Hermes came free, but Remo de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelson Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson Arósio having to interfere. Geraldo Almeida hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes, Santo Amaro AC's Wincent Pawlik shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Remo de Toledo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. TRAKINAS FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nelson Paraíba in the 28th minute. Wincent Pawlik took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remo de Toledo. Remo de Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Hermes in the 37th minute of play forced TRAKINAS FC's goalkeeper Remo de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remo de Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduard Polozov's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After 40 minutes, Oswaldo Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TRAKINAS FC and the Santo Amaro AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, Santo Amaro AC's Remo de Toledo threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wincent Pawlik, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. TRAKINAS FC's Remo de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincent Pawlik in the 60th minute of play. Luiz Fabiano de Senna's late challenge caught a TRAKINAS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Fabiano de Senna helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Luiz Fabiano de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santo Amaro AC's goalkeeper Hudson Arósio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Oswaldo Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafa Quadros charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafa Quadros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Santo Amaro AC booed when TRAKINAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Santo Amaro AC's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Paraíba came free, but Hudson Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hudson Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Oliveira in the 71st minute of the match. Remo de Toledo made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Cipriano Hermes sent off a good shot on target. Léo Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Hudson Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remo de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Arósio in the 75th minute of play. Nelson Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th match minute, Santo Amaro AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Polozov to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Santo Amaro AC's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Oliveira came free, but Hudson Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 played minutes TRAKINAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Wellington de Queirós. Cipriano Hermes struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Remo de Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santo Amaro AC. Cipriano Hermes scored 3-3 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remo de Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. TRAKINAS FC's Remo de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Arósio in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Oliveira in the 92nd minute of play forced Santo Amaro AC's goalkeeper Hudson Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Charles Oliveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hudson Arósio. Santo Amaro AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles Oliveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3.
