The audience thought a goal was coming when Kléber Queirós got free with José Maria Souza in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute Tadeu Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Bastos in the 17th minute of the match. Oscar Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Velasco in the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Squadra Demarchi's zone, Saul Francho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Saldanha came out of the goal and Saul Francho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Tadeu Bastos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Carlinhos Velasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Saldanha was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Talento Futebol clube's Zhu Zhen Ran got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Alagoano made a kick off. Sérgio Batista hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Fraco Zago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talento Futebol clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Fraco Zago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Saldanha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kléber Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Richard Moura's late challenge caught a Talento Futebol clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
