In the 8th minute Mario Jesus Jardel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Anísio Moraes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Portugália's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xurupita FC the free kick. In the 10th minute, Anísio Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xurupita FC's Gustavo Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Jesus Jardel in the 15th minute of play. Gustavo Coelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Jesus Jardel went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Xurupita FC defense, Mario Jesus Jardel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Coelho. The Xurupita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Coelho should have stopped the shot. Xurupita FC's Gustavo Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Jesus Jardel in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to CA Portugália getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Valeh Cerda hit a great ball. Rogério Soberano came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Xurupita FC's Lilian Vântu. But to his dismay, Lilian Vântu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Albertinho de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Xurupita FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jorge Pombal hit a great ball. Gustavo Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Jesus Jardel in the 43rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinei Tasso in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Coelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Jesus Jardel to make the kick off. Rogério Soberano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Claudinei Tasso hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. A collision led to CA Portugália getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Norbert Tamulewicz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertinho de Amaral in the 70th minute of play forced CA Portugália's goalkeeper Rogério Soberano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anísio Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes CA Portugália got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Moraes. Claudinei Tasso hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Xandinho Kane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Portugália's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xandinho Kane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertinho de Amaral in the 82nd minute of play forced CA Portugália's goalkeeper Rogério Soberano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Rogério Soberano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xandinho Kane might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Coelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xandinho Kane ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Xurupita FC's Gustavo Coelho got control of the ball when Xandinho Kane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rogério Soberano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CA Portugália had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
