CA Portugália's Fernandinho Barral was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gustavo Coelho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mario Jesus Jardel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gustavo Coelho came out and tried to block the shot, but Mario Jesus Jardel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Coelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Célio Maranhense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xurupita FC's Gustavo Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günalp Boysel in the 20th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Xurupita FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CA Portugália:s goal. After a long run with the ball, Norbert Tamulewicz did a trick in the 26th minute in front of Xurupita FC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-0. An impressive performance by CA Portugália's Norbert Tamulewicz! After 30 minutes of play, CA Portugália's Mario Jesus Jardel made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Coelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Tasso in the 33rd minute of play forced Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led CA Portugália's Fernandinho Barral to fire away a dangerous shot which Gustavo Coelho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rogério Soberano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Mario Jesus Jardel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mario Jesus Jardel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emerson Jacaré in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogério Soberano saved CA Portugália from getting behind.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Jesus Jardel was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Xurupita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Jesus Jardel came free, but Gustavo Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Jesus Jardel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Célio Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rogério Soberano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Claudinei Tasso came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the CA Portugália fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Tasso couldn't finish the play. Rogério Soberano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emerson Jacaré's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute Xurupita FC were awarded a corner. Emerson Jacaré went to the cornerflag to take it. Rowley McJon kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Gustavo Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandinho Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Jesus Jardel in the 64th minute of play forced Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Jesus Jardel in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Coelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xandinho Kane scored 4-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Coelho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Xurupita FC defense, Xandinho Kane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Coelho. The Xurupita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Coelho should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xandinho Kane in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Coelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th match minute, Xurupita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Cruz to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Xandinho Kane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute of the match, Célio Maranhense got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rogério Soberano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 95 minutes CA Portugália's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rowley McJon who took care of the corner kick. Xurupita FC's Rowley McJon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rogério Soberano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CA Portugália had won after a very even match.
