Luiz Gustavo Teles's late challenge caught a CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Nae Buteanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 15th minute, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Nae Buteanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 19 minutes into the game, Lobo Zornoza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelo Branco. Lobo Zornoza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldinho Braga in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juvenal Sergipano saved CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE from getting behind. Juvenal Sergipano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldinho Braga's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Célio Fontes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelo Branco came out and tried to block the shot, but Célio Fontes slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 26th minute. Juvenal Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Braga in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Amado Froila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Branco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Juvenal Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Braga in the 43rd minute of play. Vitinho Meirelles hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Célio Fontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Marcelo Branco made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldinho Braga made a kick off. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Amado Froila got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelo Branco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amado Froila went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 57th match minute, OFFLINE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Gustavo Teles to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Gustavo Teles hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Célio Fontes struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Marcelo Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE. After 63 played minutes OFFLINE got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Saraiva. In the 66thth minute of the game Ronaldinho Braga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Juvenal Sergipano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute, Dorian Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juvenal Sergipano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nae Buteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Kiko Tande was substituted for Célio Fontes. In the 80th minute of the match CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE got a corner. OFFLINE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amado Froila ran over to the corner to take the kick. 84 minutes into the game, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Kiko Tande nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Branco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Luiz Gustavo Teles was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 88th minute, Luiz Gustavo Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Tande in the 89th minute of play forced OFFLINE's goalkeeper Marcelo Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorian Loureiro hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Amado Froila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
