The crowd rose to their feet as Relyn Futebol Clube's Gabriel Vinhas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Niek Molhoek. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. 18 minutes into the match, Olímpico Blumenau FC's goalkeeper Niek Molhoek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Vinhas. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olímpico Blumenau FC's goalkeeper Niek Molhoek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olímpico Blumenau FC's Niek Molhoek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Olímpico Blumenau FC from getting a goal against them. The corner led Relyn Futebol Clube's Juarês Pontes to fire away a dangerous shot which Niek Molhoek despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Niek Molhoek was a little too slow when Gabriel Vinhas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Carlos Alves in the 35th minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Gino Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Arce came free, but Gino Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niek Molhoek made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Michael Åkerström sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Michael Åkerström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Niek Molhoek. That made the score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. Relyn Futebol Clube's Gabriel Vinhas got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Vinhas was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Gabriel Vinhas made a precise shot to the right of Niek Molhoek. Olímpico Blumenau FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Gabriel Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Niek Molhoek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niek Molhoek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But to his dismay, Gabriel Vinhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niek Molhoek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niek Molhoek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Relyn Futebol Clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
