After having played for 53 minutes, Alessandro do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MarquinhosEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro do Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Harm de Freitas took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Férid Khalifa to make any attempt to save it. Gilmar Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Matei Răducu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Botafogo MZRJ's Juvenal Camargo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Curt Montes in the 63 minute of the game. After 64 played minutes MarquinhosEC got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Quinto. Botafogo MZRJ's Álvaro Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilvan Falcão hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Tardelli in the 73rd minute of play forced Botafogo MZRJ's goalkeeper Férid Khalifa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Férid Khalifa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Tardelli in the 91st minute of the match. Matei Răducu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. MarquinhosEC's Matei Răducu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan Falcão in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Botafogo MZRJ's Juvenal Camargo got a free kick in the 95th minute. After 97 played minutes Botafogo MZRJ got a freekick which was hit by Juvenal Camargo. The MarquinhosEC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
