Gildo Linares got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Agnaldo Carneiro. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Olímpico FC's goalkeeper Geovânio Hoffmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geovânio Hoffmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldo Håland went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Ronaldo Håland dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Gildo Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Ronaldo Håland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Olímpico FC's Geovânio Hoffmann got control of the ball when Ronaldo Håland tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Wawrzyniec Knopek had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Aiach during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Henrique Meireles was substituted for Wawrzyniec Knopek. After 45 played minutes Olímpico FC got a freekick which was hit by David Aiach.

In the 56th minute Ronaldo Håland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariusz Komornicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Carvalho in the 60th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Abel Carvalho made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Mariusz Komornicki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Ronaldo Håland managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Håland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovânio Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 71 minutes Olímpico FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rodrigo Trigo who took care of the corner kick. Geovânio Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Håland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge-Luis Valdivia replaced Armağan Yörük. 80 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Håland notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Olímpico FC's Geovânio Hoffmann. Geovânio Hoffmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Håland in the 93rd minute of play forced Olímpico FC's goalkeeper Geovânio Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Rodrigo Trigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovânio Hoffmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. Olímpico FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
