In the 14th minute of the match, Gong Zhan Chen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ata Necmi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘ were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nestor Batista took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Nestor Batista got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ata Necmi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arlindo Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Paz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘ booed when BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jailson Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldo Simão got free with Ata Necmi in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's zone, Gong Zhan Chen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ata Necmi came out of the goal and Gong Zhan Chen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronaldo Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ata Necmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldo Simão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gong Zhan Chen in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ata Necmi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jailson Tasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Arlindo Rossi made a huge save. After a rather tough play, BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Gino Mangueira got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 63 played minutes, └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘'s Nestor Batista shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ata Necmi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘ reached it. In the 66th match minute, └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gong Zhan Chen to maneuver through the defense. Jimeno Henric hit a great ball. └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘'s Arlindo Rossi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘ from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER defense, Ronaldo Simão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ata Necmi. The BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ata Necmi should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Gong Zhan Chen put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ata Necmi. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘ had won after a very even match.
