Otávio Niedermeier's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alirio Oyuela firmly grabbed it by the left post. Diguinho da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Clube do Remo MZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Alirio Oyuela had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Jiang Bin Yao's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cléber Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alirio Oyuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Clube do Remo MZ's zone, Otávio Niedermeier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alirio Oyuela came out of the goal and Otávio Niedermeier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Belmiro Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Felipe Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alirio Oyuela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Cabral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alirio Oyuela. That made the score 1-1 in the 47 minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Alirio Oyuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Niedermeier in the 53rd minute of play. Alirio Oyuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber Santana in the 57th minute of the match. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Felipe Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipe Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alirio Oyuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alirio Oyuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléber Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes Clube do Remo MZ got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho Mandrak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Niedermeier in the 79th minute of play forced Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Alirio Oyuela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Otávio Niedermeier came free, but Alirio Oyuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Diguinho da Mata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
