Murilo da Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Didi Mello's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Atlético Capixaba's Naldo Machado got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Fabricio Ritchie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Murilo da Fonseca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Alirio Oyuela managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Atlético Capixaba's Naldo Machado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Atlético Capixaba's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Radowit Ciechocki in the 91st minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Clube do Remo MZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atlético Capixaba had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
