In the 4thth minute of the game Róbson Couto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laus Deo's Arsenio Manni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Michel de Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michel de Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute, Michel de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiaguinho Correia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cacá Diniz in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Róbson Couto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arsenio Manni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiaguinho Correia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Acácio Porto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Trindade Atlético Club's Róbson Couto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arsenio Manni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Laus Deo defense, Róbson Couto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arsenio Manni. The Laus Deo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arsenio Manni should have stopped the shot. Arsenio Manni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Róbson Couto went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Diniz in the 27th minute of play forced Trindade Atlético Club's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiaguinho Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Porto in the 30th minute of the match. Arsenio Manni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbson Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arsenio Manni came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Trindade Atlético Club's Róbson Couto. But to his dismay, Róbson Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Róbson Couto struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Arsenio Manni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trindade Atlético Club. Róbson Couto took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arsenio Manni. Arsenio Manni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Arsenio Manni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Róbson Couto's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After the first half Trindade Atlético Club were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Róbson Couto made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Laus Deo's Alfredo Vieira got a free kick in the 50th minute. Peder Mellingen hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute Róbson Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Manni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Róbson Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Laus Deo's Arsenio Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Couto in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Róbson Couto in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arsenio Manni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 61 minutes into the match, Trindade Atlético Club's Róbson Couto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arsenio Manni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Laus Deo booed when Trindade Atlético Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Blomkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arsenio Manni made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Dragoş Vâtcu sent off a good shot on target. Arsenio Manni was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Dragoş Vâtcu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dragoş Vâtcu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. 82 minutes into the match, Trindade Atlético Club's Dagoberto Dracena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arsenio Manni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tiaguinho Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Alberto Moura in the 83rd minute of play. In the last second Arsenio Manni throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dagoberto Dracena in the 84thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Tiaguinho Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robinho Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Timur Belyaninov made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luis Alberto Moura. Laus Deo's Michel de Alcântara got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Michel de Alcântara off the ground. Trindade Atlético Club's Wasyl Fetor was substituted for Falcão de Barros. After a rather tough play, Laus Deo's Michel de Alcântara got a free kick in the 94th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Laus Deo's zone, Dagoberto Dracena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arsenio Manni came out of the goal and Dagoberto Dracena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
