The supporters of Maragassume AD - CIMZ booed when Xapetuba Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xapetuba Futebol Clube made a substitution. Patrick Neiva replaced Jacinto Paraíba. After a rather tough play, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Flávio Matos got a free kick in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldão Sanches got free with Tiaguinho da Cunha in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 92 minutes Xapetuba Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Remo de Almeida who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Aníbal Amaral got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tiaguinho da Cunha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Maragassume AD - CIMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
