Tiaguinho da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Rodolfo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Rodrigues in the 14th minute of the match. When Wilton Vale came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the TAQUARI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilton Vale couldn't finish the play. Rodolfo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodolfo Salgado made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Adriano Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. Wilton Vale took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiaguinho da Cunha. Tiaguinho da Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by TAQUARI FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Flávio Matos was slow to take the kick. During this time Xapetuba Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Flávio Matos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rodolfo Salgado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Wilton Vale sped through Xapetuba Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tiaguinho da Cunha. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Frank Lampard got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilton Vale made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Jacinto Paraíba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Wilton Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiaguinho da Cunha made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Wilton Vale sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Soares in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilton Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiaguinho da Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Wilton Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TAQUARI FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Paraíba in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Salgado saved TAQUARI FC from getting behind. TAQUARI FC's Giannis Karagiotis was substituted for Valer Covaliu. Tiaguinho da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Patrick Neiva put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rodolfo Salgado. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
