The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, AFC - Curitiba's Jan Bykowski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yan do Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ubatuba's Yan do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matouš Carda in the 8th minute of play. Duarte Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Pereira in the 12th minute of play. When AFC - Curitiba's Romário Ortiz in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Yan do Valle came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by AFC - Curitiba's Matouš Carda. But to his dismay, Matouš Carda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 31st minute, Armando Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Jan Bykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Matouš Carda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duarte Mendes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cecilio Manny in the 34th minute. Yan do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matouš Carda, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The supporters of AFC - Curitiba booed when Ubatuba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Esteve Hodei made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Ubatuba's Yan do Valle got control of the ball when Jan Bykowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ubatuba's Yan do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseba Roa in the 53rd minute of play. Matouš Carda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Esteve Hodei hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Cecilio Manny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duarte Mendes was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Ubatuba's Yan do Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Ubatuba from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the game, Jan Bykowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Yan do Valle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 70 minutes, Matouš Carda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC - Curitiba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matouš Carda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yan do Valle was a little too slow when Matouš Carda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-8. The referee felt a red card was in order, 75 minutes into the game, when Jiří Brázdil put in a rough tackle. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ubatuba! Ubatuba:s Yan do Valle showed great skill when he stopped Hermínio Alvarenga:s penalty. In the 78th match minute, Ubatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Ambrosetti to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Matouš Carda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yan do Valle. The goal made the score 0-9. Matouš Carda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Yan do Valle made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Yan do Valle successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Yan do Valle made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Lucjan Setara sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute, Matouš Carda made a precise shot to the right of Yan do Valle. Ubatuba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Ubatuba's Yan do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Setara in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Edvaldo Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC - Curitiba's Matouš Carda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yan do Valle. That made the score 0-11 after 96 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AFC - Curitiba had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
