Guaberto Gamus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's Igor Mota sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto de Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bandeca FC's Hunor Adam got a free kick in the 13th minute. Milanis E.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Igor Mota 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. With his leg Jacinto de Azevedo managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Bandeca FC's Igor Mota fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hunor Adam hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Maicon Recife shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guaberto Gamus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 21st minute, Zé Carlos da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto de Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Mota in the 22nd minute. If Igor Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Mota got free with Jacinto de Azevedo in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guaberto Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Mazza in the 42nd minute of the match. If Júlio Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

With a little luck, Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus got control of the ball when Ronaldão Mazza tried to sneak it across the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos da Cunha came free, but Guaberto Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58thth minute of the game Igor Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milanis E.C.'s Jacinto de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Pombal came free, but Guaberto Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Gustavo Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Gustavo Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guaberto Gamus acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 63rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Augusto das Neves. In the 64th minute Hunor Adam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Milanis E.C.'s zone, Igor Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto de Azevedo came out of the goal and Igor Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hunor Adam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maicon Recife hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Márcio de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Mota went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Magalhães in the 81st minute of play forced Milanis E.C.'s goalkeeper Jacinto de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bandeca FC's Alfredo Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 minutes, Alfredo Magalhães made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Milanis E.C.'s Jacinto de Azevedo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 92 minutes into the game, Hélder Britto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milanis E.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bandeca FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Milanis E.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Hunor Adam shot the penalty kick right outside the post. A collision led to Bandeca FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Hunor Adam hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldão Mazza got free with Guaberto Gamus in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 97 played minutes Bandeca FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Couto. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bandeca FC had won after a very even match.
