Jimmy Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho Pires in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Skull Sport F.C's zone, Váldson Barral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmy Lundin came out of the goal and Váldson Barral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Levandowsky made a kick off. Mané Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cui Xiang Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandinho Pires in the 53rd minute of play forced Skull Sport F.C's goalkeeper Jimmy Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute João Augusto Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmy Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Álvaro de Mendonça notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Skull Sport F.C's Jimmy Lundin.
