Emílio Fernandes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Tinoco's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Jeremias Tinoco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emílio Fernandes, 1-0. Emílio Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Léo Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aki Guardo in the 34th minute of the match. Léo Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeferson Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Fausto Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Misericordia EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Rocha came free, but Léo Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aki Guardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Misericordia EC's Léo Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save Misericordia EC from getting a goal against them. Desportivo Lucca MZ's Emílio Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Amaral in the 57th minute of play. Fabrício Paulista hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Emílio Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Jeremias Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Misericordia EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Tinoco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emílio Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aki Guardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo Leão having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Zico Maravilha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emílio Fernandes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.
