The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Válbson Fernandes who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Tabajara Londrina LBFC's corner Válbson Fernandes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luiz Eduardo Galvão quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osmar Marinho in the 6th minute of play forced Tabajara Londrina LBFC's goalkeeper Juan Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Eduardo Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Arósio in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osmar Marinho in the 11th minute of play forced Tabajara Londrina LBFC's goalkeeper Juan Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Válbson Fernandes put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luiz Eduardo Galvão. Juan Arantes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernesto Berger went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Juan Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmar Marinho in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Aesir FC FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Carlos Eduardo Veiga went to the cornerflag to take it. Luiz Eduardo Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvaldo Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Tabajara Londrina LBFC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Porto came free, but Juan Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Válbson Fernandes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Luiz Eduardo Galvão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Osmar Marinho sped through Tabajara Londrina LBFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Arantes. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Porto to make the kick off. Marcelo Capixaba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. With his leg Juan Arantes managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Aesir FC FSCMZ's Osmar Marinho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Osmar Marinho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Juan Arantes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 80 minutes, Melquiades Maiorga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tabajara Londrina LBFC and the Aesir FC FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Tabajara Londrina LBFC got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Maiorga. Tabajara Londrina LBFC's Juan Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Porto in the 81st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Igor Porto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Arantes was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Juan Arantes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osmar Marinho in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute Igor Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
