With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Alagoano in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alperen Bozkurt saved Jataiense Futebol Clube from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Jataiense Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Alagoano came free, but Alperen Bozkurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kalle Biörkquist fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jataiense Futebol Clube's protests and gave Kalle Biörkquist a yellow card for diving instead. Wágner Fox's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Seaman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Raphael Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alperen Bozkurt having to interfere. The Jataiense Futebol Clube players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
