After some careless play in the Flying Dutch defense, Ronaldo Joinvilense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Paulo Romero. The Flying Dutch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Paulo Romero should have stopped the shot. After 94 minutes Flying Dutch's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abram Cadabra who took care of the corner kick. Nando Lara was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a defensive mix-up in Flying Dutch's zone, Ronaldo Joinvilense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Paulo Romero came out of the goal and Ronaldo Joinvilense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guillen Aguillar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Xacintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Flying Dutch's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
