Coritiba Foot Ball Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Hubert Wallmark scored to the left of an out of position Durval Messias, making the score, 1-0. Sandinense ADF were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Coritiba Foot Ball Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sílvio Luiz Tasso took the corner. Burak Özdoğan made a great header on Sandinense ADF's corner, it was just that Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Durval Messias managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Machado in the 82nd minute of play forced Sandinense ADF's goalkeeper Breno Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
