With his leg Breno Costa managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Buritama Sports's Abelardo da Fonseca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when Sandinense ADF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaká Fenomeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hubert Wallmark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Breno Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo da Fonseca in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Burak Özdoğan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sandinense ADF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burak Özdoğan in the 29th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Sandinense ADF's Burak Özdoğan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Murilo Ferreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With his leg Breno Costa managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Buritama Sports's Abelardo da Fonseca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Queirós in the 34th minute of play. Abelardo da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Breno Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murilo Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Wallmark in the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexsandro Aguiar made a kick off. When Buritama Sports's Abelardo da Fonseca in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexsandro Aguiar in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Breno Costa saved Sandinense ADF from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burak Özdoğan in the 80th minute of play forced Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Murilo Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Breno Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Aguiar in the 81st minute of play. Hubert Wallmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Ferreira having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Orlando Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Buritama Sports getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Vito Senna hit a great ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Amauri Peixoto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sandinense ADF's Breno Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
