The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Isaltino Fonseca in the 4th minute. Carlos Alberto Massa made a great header on Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's corner, it was just that 100 Chance's Leopoldo Cerezo managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Isaltino Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaltino Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Cerezo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leopoldo Cerezo came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Carlos Alberto Massa. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto Massa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Isaltino Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Cerezo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Carlos Alberto Massa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Cerezo made a huge save. Edu Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Leopoldo Cerezo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Isaltino Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Alberto Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Cerezo having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Isaltino Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Leopoldo Cerezo. 100 Chance's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, 100 Chance's Nelsinho do Nascimento got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Carlos Alberto Massa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nascidos Para Jogar F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 31st minute, Carlos Alberto Massa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Leopoldo Cerezo, passed just outside the right post. Leopoldo Cerezo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Alberto Massa's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Carlos Alberto Massa scored 5-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Cerezo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Alberto Massa couldn't finish the play. In the 46th match minute, 100 Chance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelsinho do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, 100 Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Massa came free, but Leopoldo Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaltino Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Massa in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Carlos Alberto Massa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Cerezo was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. A collision led to 100 Chance getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Luís Fábio Machado hit a great ball. Isaltino Fonseca took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Cerezo. Leopoldo Cerezo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Bobbo Breitner took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Cerezo. After 69 minutes of play, Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Bobbo Breitner made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Cerezo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 100 Chance's Leopoldo Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto Massa in the 76th minute of play. Bobbo Breitner might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Cerezo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bobbo Breitner ran back to his position shaking his head. 78 minutes into the game, Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Isaltino Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Cerezo came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Carlos Alberto Massa. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto Massa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Leopoldo Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bobbo Breitner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute Isaltino Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
