In the 20th minute Abel Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulo Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bailão De Munique FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ciro de Alcântara hit a great ball. The supporters of Ricart Futebol Clube booed when Bailão De Munique FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas McDonnell didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Bailão De Munique FC's Luís Paulo Valladares got control of the ball when Doron Bantz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Gustavo Vergílio might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andres Ekhi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Gustavo Vergílio ran back to his position shaking his head. Luís Paulo Valladares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Ramalho's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The throw-in from Ciro de Alcântara in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ricart Futebol Clube's Hans-Jürgen Beckenbauer. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Abel Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ricart Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Paulo Valladares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 43 minutes, Abel Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ricart Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Ramalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Bailão De Munique FC booed when Ricart Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Olisadebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th match minute, Ricart Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Olisadebe to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 53 played minutes Bailão De Munique FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro de Alcântara. 55 minutes into the game, Abel Ramalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Luís Paulo Valladares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Bailão De Munique FC defense, Abel Ramalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Paulo Valladares. The Bailão De Munique FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Paulo Valladares should have stopped the shot. Valentin Vizitiu's late challenge caught a Ricart Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Vizitiu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ricart Futebol Clube booed when Bailão De Munique FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Vizitiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Vizitiu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Eusebio Hori had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Paulo Valladares. Bailão De Munique FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebio Hori was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After a rather tough play, Bailão De Munique FC's Valentin Vizitiu got a free kick in the 80th minute. Eusebio Hori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Emanuel Olisadebe came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ricart Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Olisadebe couldn't finish the play. Luís Paulo Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Olisadebe in the 86th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Eusebio Hori cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Luís Paulo Valladares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricart Futebol Clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
