Christian Antonelli took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wiliam Perez in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edinho Paraíba saved Maverick Futebol Clube from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Wiliam Perez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diamante Negro DK - VV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 27th match minute, Diamante Negro DK - VV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Silva to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Alfredinho Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Diamante Negro DK - VV's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sherlock Holmes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Wiliam Perez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edinho Paraíba having to make a save. In the 38th minute Wiliam Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Willian Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Wiliam Perez might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edinho Paraíba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiliam Perez ran back to his position shaking his head. Maverick Futebol Clube's Edinho Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Perez in the 42nd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Enio Lopez put in a rough tackle. Diamante Negro DK - VV made a substitution. Cipriano Tróia replaced Willian Félix. In the 46th minute, one of Diamante Negro DK - VV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Diamante Negro DK - VV. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Diamante Negro DK - VV's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Neves in the 54th minute of play. Edinho Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Perez in the 56th minute of the match. Wiliam Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Edinho Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Edinho Paraíba successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 67th minute, Christian Antonelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fritz Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Edinho Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Antonelli in the 70th minute of play. Wiliam Perez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edinho Paraíba having to make a save. Edinho Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 79th minute of the match Maverick Futebol Clube got a corner. Diamante Negro DK - VV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Deivid Goiano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Alfredinho Massa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Diamante Negro DK - VV's Rogério Ceni did a great save. 82 minutes into the game, Alfredinho Massa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maverick Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diamante Negro DK - VV the free kick. Edinho Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villarreal Ubach in the 84th minute of play. Edinho Paraíba came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Diamante Negro DK - VV's Villarreal Ubach. But to his dismay, Villarreal Ubach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 89 minutes into the match, Maverick Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Villarreal Ubach came free, but Edinho Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Bonifaco Elenes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Villarreal Ubach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Diamante Negro DK - VV players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
