In the 14th minute, Jacinto Quirino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobby Pires in the 16th minute of play forced C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Chicão de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chicão de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Proença in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aila Van in the 20th minute of play forced C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Chicão de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A Gryffindor's Jacinto Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 24 played minutes C.A Gryffindor got a freekick which was hit by Armando Barrera. Chicão de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Quirino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Fabiano Vaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Jacinto Quirino struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Luís Fabiano Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A Gryffindor. C.A Gryffindor's attentive Sarracino Marsano managed to snatch the ball when Jorginho Mattos made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, Jacinto Quirino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Fabiano Vaz. ARON FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Quirino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind ARON FC's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacinto Quirino made a kick off. Chicão de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Xavier in the 53rd minute of play. ARON FC's Manuel Bueno was substituted for Sebastião Xavier. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Jorginho Mattos with Manuel Bueno as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 72 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's Edgard Mangueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Fabiano Vaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. C.A Gryffindor made a substitution. Guilherme Mazer replaced Jacinto Quirino. In the 74th minute of the game Aila Van made a throw-in which Manuel Bueno played forward. Luís Fabiano Vaz came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A Gryffindor's Guilherme Mazer. But to his dismay, Guilherme Mazer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. A sloppy throw-in by Jorginho Mattos in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.A Gryffindor's Paredes Pedrera. Chicão de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Guilherme Mazer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Fabiano Vaz. ARON FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilherme Mazer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The C.A Gryffindor players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
