After 9 minutes, Harvey Elliott mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA and the Vila Zumbi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The shot was a little too simple and Mazinho Barreto could save by the left post. Mazinho Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maciej Marchlewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA were awarded a corner. Yu Hong Yong went to the cornerflag to take it. During the 26th minute of the match Harvey Elliott completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Harvey Elliott a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 26 played minutes FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA got a freekick which was hit by Harvey Elliott. Maciej Marchlewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mazinho Barreto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maciej Marchlewicz in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mazinho Barreto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 34 minutes FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Fernando Schmidt who took care of the corner kick. Kang Fan Xiang was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Kang Fan Xiang kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Maciej Marchlewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mazinho Barreto. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maciej Marchlewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jonathan Huly kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA made a substitution. Dieguinho Sá replaced Washington Tasso. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Di Toma was the one to do the kick off. Antoni Beninda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieguinho Sá in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Marchlewicz in the 54th minute of play forced FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's goalkeeper Mazinho Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Maciej Marchlewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila Zumbi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maciej Marchlewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mazinho Barreto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rdth minute of the game Almir Salgado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Mazinho Barreto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 73 minutes, Almir Salgado made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Mazinho Barreto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Almir Salgado might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mazinho Barreto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Almir Salgado ran back to his position shaking his head. Diego Di Toma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoni Beninda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. The throw-in from 梅响庭 in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vila Zumbi's Guilherme Vianna. In the 88th minute Almir Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazinho Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Vila Zumbi's Almir Salgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mazinho Barreto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Vila Zumbi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
