Mazinho Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diguinho Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. César Alves charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Alves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Huly in the 28th minute of play forced Laguna Sunrise FC's goalkeeper Emerson Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mazinho Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Andrade in the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Diego Di Toma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Emerson Leão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, 梅响庭 put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Emerson Leão. 梅响庭 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 梅响庭 in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emerson Leão, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 梅响庭 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Emerson Leão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, Laguna Sunrise FC's goal looked a bit too open when 梅响庭 came free, but Emerson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Dieguinho Sá was substituted for Washington Tasso. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 梅响庭 to strike the kick off in the second half. 梅响庭's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emerson Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play.
