Shark FC - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dagoberto Sabóia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 15th match minute, Shark FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedé Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. Dagoberto Sabóia succeeded in the game's 15th minute to get real power on a long shot . Shark FC - FSCMZ's Glauco Velloso hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-0! An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Ahmet Haşim Sevgen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 22 minutes into the game, Clóvis Quirino lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Glauco Velloso. Dagoberto Sabóia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Glauco Velloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Dagoberto Sabóia slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 26th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Queluzito's Dagoberto Sabóia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Glauco Velloso. That made the score 5-0 after 29 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clóvis Quirino got free with Glauco Velloso in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shark FC - FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Dagoberto Sabóia scored to the left of an out of position Glauco Velloso, making the score, 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The supporters of Queluzito booed when Shark FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedé Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel de Souza hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Waldemar Vergílio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Pedro Paulo Bueno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Shark FC - FSCMZ's Glauco Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Haşim Sevgen in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Sabóia in the 70th minute of play forced Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Glauco Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Queluzito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clóvis Quirino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clóvis Quirino took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glauco Velloso. Glauco Velloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Queluzito had played much better football throughout.
