The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Mayhem Sharks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Mayhem Sharks's Horácio Tinoco got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Jacinto Queiroz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Renan skillfully saved the ball. Bruno Renan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doni Queirós in the 22nd minute of the match. Aloísio Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Glauco Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Márcio Garcia put in a rough tackle. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Shark FC - FSCMZ! The supporters of Mayhem Sharks booed when Shark FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doni Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fachtna Duggan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Glauco Velloso having to make a save. Fachtna Duggan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fachtna Duggan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Velloso having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Glauco Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fachtna Duggan in the 55th minute of the match. Glauco Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fachtna Duggan, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Shark FC - FSCMZ's Glauco Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fachtna Duggan in the 59th minute of play. After 68 minutes of play, Mayhem Sharks's Fachtna Duggan made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glauco Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fachtna Duggan might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glauco Velloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fachtna Duggan ran back to his position shaking his head. 73 minutes into the game, Fachtna Duggan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Glauco Velloso. Fachtna Duggan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Jacinto Queiroz hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 84 minutes, Fachtna Duggan made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Shark FC - FSCMZ's Glauco Velloso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Renan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Vergílio in the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Srđa Vulić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Glauco Velloso managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Mayhem Sharks's Fachtna Duggan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
