When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clóvis Quirino made a kick off. Cezar Rizea kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Ypiranga FC's Luizinho Veiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Paulo Bueno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After 59 minutes of play, Ypiranga FC's José Furlan made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Paulo Bueno was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ypiranga FC fully deserved thier win.
