The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Intendencia AD's Dedé Tróia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Macedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. US DI BESTI FC's Alfredo Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save US DI BESTI FC from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute Fakir Štriker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleiton Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Vivaldo Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 minutes, Jaen Fresno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the US DI BESTI FC and the Intendencia AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jaen Fresno kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Alfredo Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Bastos in the 22nd minute of the match. US DI BESTI FC's Alfredo Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Bastos in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Mathieu Ceulemans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The US DI BESTI FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, US DI BESTI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Bastos came free, but Alfredo Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 played minutes Intendencia AD got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Galvão. A collision led to US DI BESTI FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Emilio Manhood hit a great ball. Alfredo Macedo made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Hernani de Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. If Mathieu Ceulemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleiton Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Lopez in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Vivaldo Lopez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cleiton Terra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredo Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedé Tróia in the 45th minute of the match. US DI BESTI FC's Alfredo Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save US DI BESTI FC from getting a goal against them. After the first half US DI BESTI FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fakir Štriker made a kick off. Carlinhos Bastos hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Intendencia AD defense, Vivaldo Lopez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cleiton Terra. The Intendencia AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cleiton Terra should have stopped the shot. Cleiton Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathieu Ceulemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Frank Catarinense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Macedo. US DI BESTI FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Catarinense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Vivaldo Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 played minutes Intendencia AD got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo Lima. Carlinhos Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredo Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Catarinense in the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, US DI BESTI FC's Fakir Štriker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cleiton Terra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. The US DI BESTI FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
