Eustaquio Panpili kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, US DI BESTI FC's goalkeeper Rômulo de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Löfkvist. Marcus Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathieu Ceulemans in the 31st minute of the match. Rômulo de Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Löfkvist in the 36th minute. Per Löfkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of US DI BESTI FC booed when Felizberto EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abelardo Mannuel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Mathieu Ceulemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Löfkvist in the 59th minute of play forced US DI BESTI FC's goalkeeper Rômulo de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Jeferson Furtado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rômulo de Barros. US DI BESTI FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeferson Furtado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Per Löfkvist struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Rômulo de Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Felizberto EC. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for US DI BESTI FC. If Ulisses Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Felizberto EC had played much better football throughout.
