Sílvio Laureano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Mochila FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Los Hermanos CIMZ's Barnabé Neto in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bart Claveau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Genílson Massa made a huge save. After 46 minutes Los Hermanos CIMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sydney Terra who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Sydney Terra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Hermanos CIMZ's Genílson Massa did a great save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bart Claveau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnabé Neto in the 59th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mochila FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Los Hermanos CIMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
