The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Benjamin da Fonseca dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ulisses Toledo, 1-0. Ulisses Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin da Fonseca went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 10 minutes, Ricardinho Correia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anderbye FC and the Pesqueira City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardinho Correia hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The Pesqueira City fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zeca Simões hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Pesqueira City were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Anderbye FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ionuț Iniesta took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 20th minute of play forced Anderbye FC's goalkeeper Ulisses Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Benjamin da Fonseca dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ulisses Toledo, 4-0. After some careless play in the Anderbye FC defense, Benjamin da Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulisses Toledo. The Anderbye FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulisses Toledo should have stopped the shot. Benjamin da Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulisses Toledo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin da Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anderbye FC's goalkeeper Ulisses Toledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zeca Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Anderbye FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ionuț Iniesta was slow to take the kick. During this time Pesqueira City's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Cui Ling Jing to score against Ulisses Toledo in Anderbye FC's goal. 7-0 after 36 minutes. Cui Ling Jing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ulisses Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin da Fonseca's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Ulisses Toledo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Benjamin da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pesqueira City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Pesqueira City booed when Anderbye FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomé de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin da Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ulisses Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pesqueira City. Ulisses Toledo made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Benjamin da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Benjamin da Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Ulisses Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pesqueira City. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin da Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cui Ling Jing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 52nd minute, Benjamin da Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Ulisses Toledo. Anderbye FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. If Benjamin da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulisses Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Benjamin da Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Pesqueira City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin da Fonseca couldn't finish the play. Pesqueira City's Doriva Zanette was substituted for Ignat Nozharov. Pesqueira City made a substitution. Cristiano Bezerra replaced Ştefan Frunză. Zeca Simões hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. If Benjamin da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ulisses Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Benjamin da Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anderbye FC's Ulisses Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeca Simões during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ulisses Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Benjamin da Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulisses Toledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Benjamin da Fonseca took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulisses Toledo. Ulisses Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 16-0. Ulisses Toledo came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Benjamin da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 17-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pesqueira City fully deserved thier win.
