Quade Gorham blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shen Yi Yuan having to make a save. In the 14th minute, Asmund Rundkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ECS FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Arturo Borubar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvard Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Quin Camaño put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Shen Yi Yuan. Raúl Ungaro hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A collision led to Goblins F.C. getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Edgar Lind hit a great ball. Arturo Borubar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvard Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Goblins F.C.'s Edvard Carlsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arturo Borubar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the ECS FK defense, Edvard Carlsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Borubar. The ECS FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Borubar should have stopped the shot. After 46 played minutes Goblins F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Lind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Stephen was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the game Quade Gorham made a throw-in which Quin Camaño played forward. Augusto Stephen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Arturo Borubar made a huge save. 63 minutes into the match, Goblins F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Quin Camaño came free, but Shen Yi Yuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvard Carlsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Borubar having to make a save. Arturo Borubar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Carlsson in the 70th minute of play. Shen Yi Yuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quin Camaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 74th match minute, Goblins F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Lind to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Goblins F.C. booed when ECS FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dênis Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, ECS FK's Dênis Matorin got a free kick in the 78th minute. Augusto Stephen struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Arturo Borubar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goblins F.C.. After a defensive mix-up in ECS FK's zone, Augusto Stephen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Borubar came out of the goal and Augusto Stephen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ECS FK's Arturo Borubar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Carlsson in the 85th minute of play. Edvard Carlsson struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Arturo Borubar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goblins F.C.. When Quade Gorham fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ECS FK's protests and gave Quade Gorham a yellow card for diving instead. Quade Gorham hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 94th match minute, Goblins F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Semavi Hirfet to maneuver through the defense. Goblins F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
