In the 5th minute, Gildo de Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Décio Barbosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 11th match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Microsoft Team's Décio Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Microsoft Team from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, SC Bertioga's Gildo de Lima dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. SC Bertioga's Bruninho Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 19th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Flavio Troiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Bertioga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Troiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavio Troiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Alf Elg managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bertioga's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Elg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Décio Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Décio Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Elg in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Troiano in the 30th minute of play forced Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Décio Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruninho Vaz saved SC Bertioga from getting behind. Luiz Eduardo Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Queiroz in the 35th minute of play forced Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Décio Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anderson Pombal got free with Décio Barbosa in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Microsoft Team's Cauã Vinhas got a free kick in the 47th minute. Serafim Queiroz, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

53 minutes into the match, Anderson Pombal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Décio Barbosa. Microsoft Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anderson Pombal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 57th minute, Alf Elg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Décio Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Elg, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute Alf Elg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardinho Peixoto charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 85th minute Anderson Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Décio Barbosa came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Bertioga's Alf Elg. But to his dismay, Alf Elg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 92 minutes into the game, Alf Elg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Décio Barbosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Décio Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alf Elg's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. When Bernardinho Peixoto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. Bernardinho Peixoto hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Décio Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nertil Maldini in the 99th minute of play. There was no doubt that SC Bertioga were the better team. SC Bertioga's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
