Rui Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ismael Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Cunha in the 12th minute of play. The coaching staff of Habilirows protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lúcio Simão had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Habilirows fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Ceilândia Futebol Clube. Juarês Cearense stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ismael Pereira. 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, Habilirows's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Dante came free, but Ismael Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guilherme Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Rui Goiano made a huge save. Leví Cabezudo took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Pereira. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leví Cabezudo was the one to do the kick off. In the 63rd minute of the match, Leví Cabezudo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ismael Pereira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Habilirows booed when Ceilândia Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Ceilândia Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Goiano should have stopped the shot. Ceilândia Futebol Clube's Nildo Paes was substituted for Claudinho Pinheiro. 80 minutes into the match, Habilirows's goal looked a bit too open when Anaking Skywalker came free, but Ismael Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
