Excelência de Luxe's Vítor Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Vidal in the 31st minute of play. After the first half Excelência de Luxe were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Gustavo Custódio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Gustavo Custódio in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renato Braga saved Habilirows from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Habilirows's Adrianinho Paiva got a free kick in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Rosa during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th minute, Augusto Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto Rosa hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Laerte Carvalho got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Renato Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Custódio in the 87th minute of play. Luís Gustavo Custódio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 88th playminute.
