Väinö Caca-Rato's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Carlos Carioca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Gustavo Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rene Austin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Sergipano in the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Gustavo Sergipano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Austin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Sergipano in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Austin saved Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ from getting behind. Rene Austin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from He Shi Yu in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half IGUIPORÃ FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Carlos Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fryderyk Pacholewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If He Shi Yu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 53 minutes into the match, Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when He Shi Yu came free, but Rene Austin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Sergipano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Austin was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Gustavo Sergipano sped through Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rene Austin. A well-hit corner resulted in João Adolfo Goiano heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience thought a goal was coming when He Shi Yu got free with Rene Austin in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eric Hjortsberg in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Austin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the game, João Adolfo Goiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Rene Austin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. João Adolfo Goiano scored 1-6 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rene Austin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
