The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Délio Tasso during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Délio Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Wambalamba FC's João Carlos Vianna got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tiago Gabriel Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Steckamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Brian Finnman. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos Vianna in the 24th minute of play forced Vae Victis!!'s goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If João Carlos Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brian Finnman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiago Gabriel Cabral having to make a save. João Carlos Vianna scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiago Gabriel Cabral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carlos Vianna in the 32nd minute of the match. Tiago Gabriel Cabral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Carlos Vianna went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carlos Vianna in the 41st minute of the match. Rolf Pilgren hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Délio Tasso in the 44th minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Cris Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dacian Măcriș made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Agron Elmasllari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Juarês Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vae Victis!!'s zone, João Carlos Vianna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Gabriel Cabral came out of the goal and João Carlos Vianna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dacian Măcriș fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vae Victis!!'s protests and gave Dacian Măcriș a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wambalamba FC booed when Vae Victis!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dacian Măcriș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juarês Donato was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Robin Steckamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gabriel Cabral having to interfere. Vae Victis!!'s Fernandinho Mota was substituted for Emmanuel Gigliotti. Vae Victis!! made a substitution. Filipe Catarinense replaced Dacian Măcriș. Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Sarmento in the 79th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Wambalamba FC's corner Brian Finnman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tiago Gabriel Cabral quite easily take care of the ball. Andre-Yann Dospel hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute of the match José Carlos de Salles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cris Courtois showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos Vianna in the 89th minute of play forced Vae Victis!!'s goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cris Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro Sarmento in the 97th minute of the match. The Vae Victis!! fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Wambalamba FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
