Albérico Neto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 4th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 7 minutes into the match, TEIXEIRINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albérico Neto came free, but Doni das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Albérico Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Albérico Neto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doni das Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Doni das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albérico Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the TEIXEIRINHA FC defense, Albérico Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doni das Neves. The TEIXEIRINHA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doni das Neves should have stopped the shot. Albérico Neto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doni das Neves having to make a save. In the 27th minute Doru Pogea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmyr Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Aguinhas got a corner. TEIXEIRINHA FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paulo Renato Fernandez ran over to the corner to take the kick. José Maria Ceresso hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Doni das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albérico Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Malsepica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Aguinhas's Albérico Neto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doni das Neves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Albérico Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni das Neves having to interfere. Paulo Renato Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Doni das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Sivart Flammild hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doru Pogea to make the kick off. Albérico Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni das Neves having to interfere. Doni das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albérico Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, TEIXEIRINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albérico Neto came free, but Doni das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Serafino Bittor fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguinhas's protests and gave Serafino Bittor a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Serafino Bittor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th match minute, Aguinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Bittor to maneuver through the defense. When TEIXEIRINHA FC's Doru Pogea in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to TEIXEIRINHA FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Sivart Flammild hit a great ball. Doni das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazarópi Orange in the 78th minute of play. Jardel de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni das Neves having to interfere. Doru Pogea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Walmyr Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, TEIXEIRINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mazarópi Orange came free, but Doni das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doni das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilson Quadros in the 88th minute of the match. After 94 played minutes TEIXEIRINHA FC got a freekick which was hit by Doru Pogea. TEIXEIRINHA FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
